Position: Project Engineer
Location: Farmington Hills, MI
Salary: $58,000 -$60,000

Our client company provides body shop tooling and engineering services to automotive manufactures in the North America and is one of leading tooling supplier of automotive body shop in the world.

Responsibilities

• PLC control design of automotive body shop tooling
• Preparing and reviewing control designs and related control specifications
• Drawing check and solving design issues during manufacturing
• Communication and coordination with customer for control engineering
• Project schedule and progress management
• Travel for service, installation, start-up and debug for complete integration at the customer’s site

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in electric engineering is required or related work experience
• Knowledge on PLC programming languages, operator interface programming languages and hardware design.
• Control design and project management experience specializing in automotive body shop tooling is preferred
• High proficiency in English is required
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
