    GD Innovation, Inc. is currently looking for a Project Manager for construction projects in Southern California. We are currently looking for a candidate with roughly 1-2 years of experience in the Construction industry either through internships or full-time employment.

    Tasks associated with this position will include:

    – Assistance with Construction Documentation (RFIs, Submittals, etc.) on multiple projects
    – Assistance with the collection of Safety Documentation on multiple projects
    – Subcontractor coordination and scheduling for multiple projects
    – Assistance with solicitations for upcoming bids and evaluations of subcontractor bids
    – Complete control of Closeout Documentation and project turnover for all projects
    – Assistance with any additional document collection from subcontractors, as needed

    The tasks listed above sum up the majority of responsibilities that will be held by this position. As far as skills go, the following skills are those that are valued highly for this position:

    – Microsoft Office and Excel
    – Ability to read and interpret construction plans
    – Ability to read and interpret project specifications
    – Effective communication skills (interpersonal oral and written)
    – Good organization
    – Willingness to learn and ask questions

    Required education and experience:

    – Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business, Architecture, Engineering or related field and a minimum 1-2 year experience in relevant industry.

    Candidates must have valid California Driver License and a driving record in good standing. All final candidates will be required to have a Fitness for Duty Test, Drug Screen, Motor Vehicle Report, and Criminal Background Check prior to hiring.
