    Job Purpose
    The Production control specialist will develop, control, and communicate the master production plan supporting customer expectations and optimizes plant operations, while fulfilling customer requirements.

    Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):
    Access and study customer driven data systems on a continual basis.
    Assure accurate timely communication with external and internal customers. This is to be an effective combination of both
    verbal and computer based communications.
    Accomplish 100% on-time delivery through effective daily and weekly production planning requirements. Work closely with
    Purchasing, Inventory Control, Production, Shipping, and Management to ensure proper planning and prioritizing.
    Handle all errors and complaints in an effective, timely, and professional manner by working both internally and externally to
    ensure satisfaction.
    Assist with the development, maintenance and improvement of network systems which enables effective and efficient
    planning, production control, and documentation.
    Develop and manage the forecasting system translating sales data to plant operational data.
    Work closely with team to coordinate resources and prioritize tasks. This is to be accomplished with optimum utilization of
    resources while meeting customer needs and expectations in the most cost effective manner.
    Maintain all requirement planning systems to ensure planning integrity. This is to be accomplished through a combination of
    hands-on tasks as well as supervision of any direct reports.
    Participate in the coordination and release of new products.
    Support the budgeting process through forecasting and analysis.
    Actively participate in continual improvement and cost reduction activities.
    Ensure participation by all team members in continual improvement and cost reduction activities while providing leadership to
    team members. This includes leading by example, developing positive attitudes amongst employees, cultivating a passion,
    loyal, and sense of urgency amongst employees.
    Create and analysis of LTD weekly

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred.
    Prior leadership experience preferred.

    Technical Competencies:
    Excellent computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office), with strong spreadsheet skills. An understanding of system software
    necessary for the proper communication of shipping and customer documents.
    Complete knowledge of customer routing and shipping requirements.
    Knowledge of regulatory requirements for interstate transport and shipment of material.
