Full-Time FINANCIAL/TREASURY ANALYST
Our client, located in Florida, is looking for experienced financial/treasury analystRESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and review the daily cash position
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management
• Assist with company’s property, casualty, liability & worker’s compensation insurance programs
• Compile various analysis reports for investment and treasury activity
• Develop and maintain complex financial models using advanced spreadsheet and database applications
• Support the monthly close through analysis of cash and investment holdings using balances and transactions
• Maintain and enhance investment and treasury reporting models and processes
• Create and analyze metrics to monitor the performance of our investment manager
• Work independently toward agreed upon objectivesQualifications
• Four-year college degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting from an accredited college or university required, CPA a plus
• 3+ years full-time accounting experience required
• Insurance industry experience is preferred.
• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Skilled in performing financial and analytical computations
• Experience in Big 4 is a plus
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team oriented environmentJob-Category
