Location: West Point, GA
Pay Range: $70K-$90KPosition Overview
Reporting to the Sr. Facilities Manager, the Electrical Construction Manager is responsible for overseeing the electrical/construction components of facilities maintenance projects for various industrial/manufacturing clients.
Responsibilities
Conduct site visits to understand the scope and feasibility of projects
Understand plans and specifications to identify the types and grades of materials and equipment needed to ensure compliance with project requirements
Develop project schedules: assigning cost and manpower to the schedule and provide cash and manpower forecasting
Develop budgets and cost codes for projects; assisting in the preparation of technical proposals, including assisting in the design and writing the scope of work, management plans, work sequence, safety, quality control and commissioning
Participate in estimating projects and writing bid proposals for clients
Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize and accomplish work in a timely and professional manner
Authorize and/or approve all project staff transactions including choice of superintendent, general foremen, foremen, staff volume and wages
Review and approve purchase requisitions, payment approvals, sending invoices, and change order requests
Act as a liaison to coordinate communication between both internal and external members on the project including, but not limited to: General Contractors, Subcontractors, Superintendents, General Foremen and union officials
When necessary, estimate change orders for assigned projects
Assure compliance with construction/engineering standards and codes
Negotiate and resolve all customer concerns
Ensure the maintenance of all official project documentation and logsRequirements
Bachelor’s Degree (electrical engineering or construction degree)
Must be fluent in Korean and English
5+ years successful electrical/construction PM experience (large job experience and OSHA 30 a plus)
Prior experience in electrical estimating
Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in the production of electrical plans, blueprints, and drawings
Familiarity with electrical equipment, materials, and specifications
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints
Experience with contract documents
Strong computer skills (MS Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication
