Our client company is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of high quality laser application systems, producing laser cutting systems, as well as special laser application systems. The company has produced more than 2000 laser systems in the last 25 years since the company’s founding and has continuously developed customer-oriented solutions specially designed to handle the challenges of today’s competitive industrial environment.
Position Description
This position will be responsible for installing and servicing CNC laser cutting systems. Successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining good customer relationships by demonstrating excellent customer service. This position involves a high volume of travel, face-to-face customer contact, and reports to the Service Manager.
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Serve existing customers by analyzing work orders, planning daily travel schedule, investigating complaints, conducting tests, resolving problems.
• Perform service by studying system requirements, ordering and gathering components and parts, completing installations, performing acceptance tests.
• Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, recommending system improvements.
• Operate tools and equipment by adhering to company safety regulations: Troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairs.
• Documents service and installation procedures by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Protect customer privacy by keeping service information confidential.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading professional publications.
• Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.Position Requirements:
• Associate’s degree, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent combined college and work experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytic and problem solving skills.
• Strong work ethic and commitment.
• Ability to work independently and be self-driven.
• Must be adept with tools.
• Travel Percentage: 90%.
• Have access to an automobile for business travel.
• Possess working knowledge in MS Office.Salary and Benefits:
