Responsibilities:
– Line management of team members
– Goal setting for team members
– Motivate and lead team members
– Drive development of your team
– Focus on deliverables and getting things done
– Ensure that projects and deliverables are thought through

Qualifications:
– 2+ years of relevant work experience, including hands-on technical management
– 5+ years professional experience in software development.
– Exceptional coding skills in one of the following C, C++, C#, Java, and/or Python
– Product Management
– Demonstrated ability to recruit and manage technical teams, including performance management
– BS in Computer Science or Engineering, MS preferred
– Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and best practices for the full software development life cycle, i- ncluding coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Can work closely with other developers to understand their needs and issues and to develop cooperative solutions

Pluses:
– Experience with Agile product development methodology
– Knowledge of Hadoop, Big Data processing, and Data Mining
– Experience with machine learning algorithms and/or statistical methods in computation
– Online and/or retail experience
