Resident engineer at General Motors(GM) VEC, Vehicle Engineering Center, in Detroit
Quality issue management for GM North America and other OEMs in North America
Technical sales of safety seat belt for North America located automotive OEM such as GM, Ford, FCA (Fiat Chrysler) and other OEMs.Job Responsibilities:
Conduct the role of Resident engineer and Support GM DRE, Design Release Engineer at GM VEC
Responsible to follow up engineering requirement of GM and activities listed below:
– APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) process
– EWO(Engineering Work Order), D-FMEA and DRBFM
– GM3660 process
– ADV P&R, Analysis Development Validation Plan & Report
– Achieve Color & Material approval of GM
– 2D drawing revision, 3D CAD data upload to GM Team Center System and achieve GM’s approval
– Support GM MPG(Crash test center) Test and follow up the result
– Arrange & Lead PDT meeting with GM, relevant Tier I and Korea HQ engineering team.
Responsible for Proto Shop Operation& Management
Prepare and conduct promotional activities including sales & technical presentations, through one-on-one or group presentations, formal seminars and etc
Research and collect the market information such as market trend, customer requirement or expectation, the activity of the competitors, and make report to Korea HQ on a regular base
Manage quality issue at GM North America, Ford, FCA and other OEMs
Make & Keep good relationship with customers
Weekly, quarterly and annual activity report to Korea HQ
Required flexibility
– International Conference call with Car makers, Tier I companies and Korea HQ
– Regular/Irregular Conference call with Korea HQ
Qualifications / Requirement:
Bachelor of science degree in engineering, business or marketing
US Green card or Citizenship
Bilanguage (Native English level & Korean)
Capable to use Unigraphics& MS office
GM Process knowledge & Program development experience
3~5 years of automotive industry experience is essential, preferably at a Tier I company supplying safety restraint systems. GM/Ford/FCA business experience preferred.
Excellent customer interface skills and presentation skills
Strongly results-oriented and customer-focused
Flexible working hour and domestic & international business travel required.
Strong self-management and strong team player with ability to complete tasks on time and result oriented.문의사항은
