The Human Resources Specialist is an active member of the HR team. This bi-lingual specialist will serve as liaison and provide translation for Korean and English speaking employees.

Essential Functions:
This is a cross-functional role that will allow someone to grow and contribute in multiple areas of Human Resources.

Responsibilities:
• Recruitment, schedule phone and onsite interviews
• Assist in sourcing candidates utilizing standard and creative resources.
• Coordinate new hire orientation and on-boarding process
• Assist with data management in HRIS, and payroll administration.
• Assist in workers’ compensation and leave of absence administration,
• Review and make recommendations for procedures and policy updates.
• Active involvement in Employee Relations activities; recognition programs
• Translation of reports.
• Participate as needed in special projects
• All other duties as assigned.

SPECIALIZED TRAINING, SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE:
• 1+ years human resources or customer service experience
• Basic Knowledge of employment practices, state and federal employment laws.
• Strong knowledge of HR standards and policies.
• Basic understanding of unemployment process and guidelines.
• Must speak, read and write Korean and English
• 1+ years with experience with Microsoft office, word, excel and power point.
