Position Classification: Staff Accountant (Korean Speaking)
Department: Accounting
Shift: M-F; 9 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.

Location: Fort Lee, NJWorking within the accounting team, the Staff Accountant will assist in providing financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounts and preparing financial statements.
Responsibilities
Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Subsidiary Ledgers, ensuring accurate coding of Accounts Payable invoices and departmental accounts
Process payments via check, wire, and ACH (Automated Clearing House) as well as directly by website and phone to meet the deadline
Manage all documents by e-storage
Prepare and record General Journal Entries to the General Ledger
Assist with monthly Financial Statements, to include Income Statement/Budget Comparison, Balance Sheet and Prepare Monthly Statement of Cash Flows
Establish, maintain, and coordinate the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
Maintain and reconcile accounts/payable & receivable/records and budget reports
Reconcile inter-company transaction
Performs other related duties as directedRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business related with less than two years’ experience in an accounting environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Must speak and write Korean and English fluently (No exceptions!)
An advanced degree, certification, or additional professional training preferred
Advanced knowledge of various accounting functions such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, billing, consolidations, budgeting/forecasting, etc.
Knowledge of consolidation of international accounting applying FX (Foreign Exchange)
Experience in a variety of computerized accounting applications
Ability to research accounting and finance issues, policies and procedures
Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, clients/customers & vendors
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and ERP System
General computer operation with centralized financial systems and proficiency in use of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
