General Description
System Engineer position in Equipment Management System (EMS) which covers maintenance and asset management in fully automated semiconductor manufacturing facility. EMS is a critical system with a heavy user basis from local Engineering and Parts Management teams. Specific Job Duties: • Development of new enhancements within IBM Maximo framework. • Take part in standardization deployments with other lines in global manufacturing network. • Assist in creating design specs to outline proposed changes to existing systems in order to fulfill customer requirements. • Communicate system change points and issue resolutions clearly to members in the department and internal customers in the company. • Plan periodically for preventative maintenance activities and provide awareness of system performance and reliability. • Work with international and local team members to resolve issues and ensure proper integration with other related systems. Location: Austin, TX

Necessary Skills / Attributes
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: • Programming knowledge in Java required. • Experience with JSP, XML, and Adobe Flex preferred • Proficient with SQL Language (Oracle) • Experience of UNIX (AIX, Linux) and Windows environment • Experience in SAP MM and TIBCO BW / RV Module • Preferred experience with IBM Maximo • Preferred business experience in supply chain management and inventory systems Education, Training, Certification(s): • BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering major • 5-7 years relevant experience
