Department: Sales Planning
Position in the organization: Sales Planning AnalystReports to: Sales Planning Sr. Analyst
Purpose of the position: Work close conjunction with Sales departments and Marketing Department to provide analytical support.
Main Duties and Tasks•Analyze and report monthly category/brand/market overview to sales (IRI)
•Understand how the Company goes to market with customers utilizing a full understanding of the customer’s strategies, policies & key personnel, as well as Company’s trade, pricing, & product strategies & key personnel
•Deliver accurate and timely customer tracking reports that increase deduction trend visibility and meet business needs
•Liaison with sales coordinators, Regional sales managers, brokers, distributors and other sources for support of Sales.
•Conduct trend analysis to drive continuous improvement related to Sales and systems
•Work with contracted entities to resolve pricing discrepancies
•Collect up-to-date information on the status of orders from sales departments
•Keep accurate records of monthly and annual sales figures
•Create sales reports to present to sales managers and/or customers
•Assist in measuring, tracking, and communicating progress of deduction analysis on a regular basis
•Help create and update sales presentation, price list, and specification
•Coordinate sales request for POS, materials and samples for existing products
•Update various sales related spreadsheets such as price list, specification
•Main contact for broker assistance
•Function as the main conduit for communication between the corporate office and the Sales team in the field
•Update various sales related spreadsheets
•Interface with other departments on Sales requests
•Assist on various miscellaneous sales projectsQualifications/skills for the job:
-Education Level: BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics preferred
-Related Work Experience: Minimum 4+ years of experience in related field-Language Skills: English
-Other Required Skills: SAP, Microsoft Office(Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel), Analytical, Organized, team player, flexible and adaptable to change, ability to multitask and prioritize key tasks, attention to detail, strong negotiation and decision making skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills
