    Job Title: Color Technician (Bilingual-English & Korean A Plus)

    Location: Adairsville, GA

    Objective: LG Hausys America, Inc. a subsidiary of LG Hausys Ltd in South Korea is looking for a Color Technician at our Autoskin Plant in Adairsville, GA.     Role Description and Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for all processes and procedures relating to product integrity as measured by LG Hausys product and quality standards
    • Directly responsible for the accuracy of laboratory tests and records, product formulation (recipes), maintenance of product samples, and proprietary documents
    • Management of pigment stock, including ordering and maintaining inventory level
    • Color related issue correspondence including developing colors and production colors
    • Conduct post-production tests to determine if product matches reference sample
    • Maintain accurate reference sample, and recipe files of all products
    • Operate and perform minor maintenance on laboratory equipment
    • Maintain laboratory records for all production quality and reference matching tests
    • Stock and administer the color/product quality laboratory according to LG Hausys laboratory guidelines and procedures
    • Work with Quality and Production teams to provide timely and accurate product conformance and quality reports
    • Must have understanding of the concepts of color tone, balance and composition
    • Experience in the use of product testing laboratory equipment: Scales, mixers, colorimeters, viscometers, and lab containers
    • Understand the application of laboratory measurements
    • Ability to understand and conduct laboratory tests as prescribed by company procedures and documentation
    • Knowledge of laboratory recordkeeping systems and accuracy assurance procedures
    • Knowledge of OSHA and other applicable laboratory safety policies and procedures
    • Experience in a team oriented environment

    Education and Work Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred
    • Quality inspection, auditing and testing experience
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases

    Salary Range:

    • Negotiable/Based on qualification and work experience.
