Position Classification: Bilingual Korean Maintenance/Production Technician

Position Summary
Assuring proper maintenance for all manufacturing equipment and assisting leadership with coordination of all manufacturing maintenance activities to assure compliance, quality, product cost, and customer service and safety objectives are achieved.

Essential Functions
* Oversight of general maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment and grounds;
* Maintain schedules for preventative maintenance;
* Keep maintenance records for all equipment;
* Follow instructions and work with management to resolve maintenance issues in a timely manner with minimal disturbance to factory output;
* Assist management in all new construction, renovation, and facility improvement projects;
* Assist management in soliciting bids / estimate for all work to be performed by outside contractors;
* Ensure that proper permits and regulations are being followed in all projects;
* Develop and implement quality and efficiency plans for continued mass production.
* Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
* Troubleshoot assembly equipment problems.
* Evaluate adequacy of spare part quality and inventories and modifies accordingly.
* Ensure a rapid response repair system is in place to address unplanned downtime events.
* Identify/develop training program for hourly maintenance workers.
* Over-site of department budget/fiscal matters.
* Procure maintenance equipment and supplies.
* Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements
* Bilingual in Korean and English
* Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required.
* Previous experience in manufacturing plant
* Must have demonstrated understanding of maintenance management systems, financial control, planning and scheduling.
* Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.
* Ability to wear various types of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Effectively use a variety of hand and power tools, operate a fork lift truck, pallet jacks, hand trucks, carts, etc.
* Must have good visual inspection skills.
* Ability to adapt flexibly in a fast paced environment and work within a team environment;
* Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends, holidays, and plant shut downs.
