Michigan, USAA fast growing transportation SCM (Supply Chain Management) company seeking an accounting/billing analyst to add to the team.
A. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Billing Analysis
•Prepare weekly bills and invoices and weekly funding requests for submission to customer.
•Receive payments and pay vendor bills to match funding requests.
•Prepare of weekly Master Bills for owner-operators, leased drivers and 3PL subcontractors (carriers), verify and resolve issues/exceptions, and coordinate accurate entries for Master Bills and settlements.
•Help ensure accurate and timely processing of overseas freight and warehousing payment.
•Provide customer support to as needed, including resolving customer invoicing issues2. Accounting / Finance
•Prepare the general ledger entries on QuickBooks (Enterprise version)
•Help ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
•Support financial budget and forecasting process.
•Support overall department goals and objectives.
•Filing and other administrative office duties as assigned.B. Job Requirements
•Proficiency at Microsoft Excel
•Working knowledge of QuickBooks or experience with other accounting S/W
•Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
•Experience :
1) 3~4 years of experience with billing, accounts receivable/payable.
2) Will consider recent graduate from college/graduate school, depending on the qualification.
3) Will also consider hiring paid summer interns and offer full-time poistion at the end of internship
•Education : Bachelor degree or above
