Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Responsibilities for maintaining and reconciling general ledger (GL) accounts including:
- Prepares/Reviews balance sheet accounts reconciliation as necessary for close-out
- Works with various GL accounts, including but not limited to, cash, AR, AP
- Responsible for presentation of the balance sheet and income statement result and analysis Demonstrates and applies an understanding of basic accounting principles
- Ensures that the division financial statements are accurate and timely
- Reconciles monthly bank accounts and general ledger maintenance
- Coordinates with branches and vendors
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Desires to work in a team environment
- Performs other daily tasks/chores assigned by accounting manager
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Prefer at least 2+ years related experience in a retail environment, but not must
- 1 ~ 2 year(s) experience at CPA office plus
- Knowledge of principle accounting procedures
- Detail oriented, and excellent communication skills
- Solid computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, etc)
- Ability to meet all deadlines and multi-task
- Bilingual English and Korean (both verbal and written)
