    5년정도 경력의 C++ 개발자를 구합니다.
    자세한 잡 디스크립션은 아래에 있지만…
    간단히 설명하면 5년정도 경력의 C++, 윈도우즈 API 사용가능한 개발자입니다.
    위치는 Concord, CA 입니다.
    회사는 일본계회사입니다. Kyocera Document Solutions 입니다.
    비자는 이미 마감되서 서포트가 안됩니다.
    제조업의 특성상 샐러리는 그닥 많지는 않습니다만…
    일도 좀 많구…. 별로 장점은 없습니다…
    하지만 일단 들어오면 레이오프… 뭐 이런건 신경쓰지 않아도 됩니다…
    유일한 장점이랄까요?

    SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITY:

     

    Designs and develops installation utilities that promote
    the sale of Kyocera printers and digital copier products worldwide.  Performs the following duties personally or
    may lead a team of engineers.

     

    MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    Designs, implements and maintains software development
    projects including installation utilities.

     

    Designs and codes software projects’ feature sets,
    objects, classes, structures, user interfaces and functionality using standard
    programming languages, application programming interfaces, and graphic design
    tools.

     

    Compares competitive product design and analyzes usability
    requirements for product.

     

    Generates software project user interfaces and
    functionality specifications.  Defines
    design specifications and parameters, develops algorithms and applies major
    routines to software projects.

     

    Works as part of a team or directly supervises individual
    engineers.

     

    Designs and creates user interface objects to include
    bitmaps, icons, storyboards and artwork for software products. Is this a
    requirement for your engineer or done by the UX team now?

     

    Performs coding; converts software project designs into
    step-by-step instructions.

    Compiles source code into test builds and release
    candidates.  Tests the software product
    with test data such that it is sufficiently error-free, compiles and integrates
    correctly into the overall project, and meets the functional requirements of
    the product.

     

    Updates source code to resolve any issues /or incompatibilities
    with other software applications. Diagnoses and fixes issues in a timely
    manner.  Documents the status of issues  using bug tracking software.  Resolves any compatibility issues with third
    party applications.

     

     

    QUALIFICATIONS:

     

    An undergraduate degree is required and an advanced degree
    is desirable.  At least five
    years of software development experience; or equivalent combination of
    education and experience are required.
    Previous team leadership experience is desired.  Excellent verbal and written communication
    skills are a must.  Experience with
    printer software is a plus.

     

    • Good C++/C# design and
      development skill required.
    • Good Windows API knowledge is a plus.
    • Software Installation utility
      development experience is a plus.

    AUTHORITY:

     

    The incumbent is authorized to take any reasonable action
    necessary to carry out the assigned responsibilities; provided that such action
    is consistent with sound management and cost-effective practices and is
    consistent with product planning guidelines and department objectives.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is
    expected.

     

    MISCELLANEOUS:

     

    Special projects as assigned by the Manager, Software
    Development Department.

     

    NOTE:  This
    is a general description of the duties and responsibilities most frequently
    required of this position.  The company
    may from time to time request that the incumbent perform other related tasks
    and assume reasonable responsibilities that have not been specifically included
    in this description.  The incumbent shall
    work well under pressure; meeting multiple and sometimes competing
    deadlines.  The incumbent shall at all
    times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.

      정년 보장해 줄 수만 있다면, 철밥통 신의 직장인데…..

      그런데, ‘일본계’ 회사라는 게 좀 걸리네요? 일본은 서서히 망해가는 나라입니다.

      ㅎㅎㅎ… 여긴 산호세가 아니라…. 150은 말도 안돼요…. ㅋ….
      하지만 정말 철밥통은 철밥통입니다. 본인이 깽판치지 않으면 짜르지 않습니다.
      프린터 회사인데… 수익률이 매년 10%정도 됩니다…. 망할 회사도 아니고요…
      좀 자질구레한 일이 많아서 그렇지 어려운 일은 아닙니다.
      근데 작년엔 이력서를 많이 보내주시더니 이번엔 이력서가 안오네요…
