NJ based payment processing company, United Merchant Services, inc. is looking for experienced HR Specialist to join our rapidly growing company.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with recruiting, assessments, scheduling and on-boarding
· Administer employment process including benefits enrollment and payroll set up
· Benefits administration Create and coordinate employee wellness programs to effectively assist in the reduction of the company’s health insurance costs
· Assist supervisors/managers with formulating performance improvement plans
· Keeps abreast of legislation affecting human resources and ensure that company policies and practices reflect the most up to date guidance.
· Administrative tasks as needed to support company HR projects and initiativesQUALIFICATIONS:
· Must be Bilingual in English and Korean
· Bachelor’s degree ; minimum five years HR related experience
· Strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
· Working knowledge of all federal, state, and local government compliance regulations including ADAA, FMLA, and FLSA
· Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Knowledge of principles and general practices of human resources including employee benefits.
· Ability to manage, prioritize and deliver on multiple projects.
· Strategic thinker with ability to work independently to find creative and resourceful solutions.
