    Job Title: Student Coordinator near Boston Area

    Position Overview: Korea Toynbee Co., Ltd. (KTC) in South Korea is seeking a new Student Coordinator in Boston, MA area. This individual will report to the director and staff of KTC and oversee all aspects of homestay and schools including students caring, homestay recruiting, evaluating, placing, record keeping, and satisfaction for students all year round. This is part time job to assist students and KTC, so days and times will be flexible on this position.

     

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    KTC, we are seeking someone with the confidence and patience to effectively deal with student needs and concerns as well as excellent communication skills to liaise with our KTC director and staff. A high level of motivation and ability to work under pressure is required in order to resolve essential situation among schools, students, parents, and KTC. The student coordinator is for providing excellent support to students via phone, email and face to face. Experience in the educational sector is preferable, but a sound track record of excellent students caring and management is a must. We are seeking part time, so coordinator is flexible on days and times. The payment will be talked about during the interview (We will interview applicants via Skype).  

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s or similar degree. 
    • A minimum of one year of directly related work experience.
    • Accurate data entry and record-keeping skills; meticulous attention to detail.
    • Strong interpersonal communication, excellent verbal and written communication skills; must have a strong command of business English.
    • Ability to successfully resolve student issues from request through resolution.
    • Must be able to work well and develop rapport with individuals of diverse cultures and ethnic groups with varying levels of English proficiency.
    • Basic knowledge of current U.S. federal regulations and SEVIS functions pertaining to F-1 nonimmigrant status.
    • Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
    • Interest and commitment to meeting the needs specific to international students.
