AMKOR A & E, Inc. is a Honolulu, Hawaii based, multi-disciplinary architecture and engineering firm working for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Far East District in Seoul, South Korea designing projects for the U.S. government.  We are currently looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer with at least 10-15 years of experience for our office in Seoul, Korea.   Applicant should have a Professional Engineering Licensed in Electrical Engineering.  Applicant should also have experience with some of the following types of projects: government/institutional, multi-family housing, low/mid-rise office buildings, community facilities, communications/technical centers, sport/exercise facilities, aircraft/vehicle maintenance facilities, renovation/building maintenance, and EPAct 2005 energy savings/LEED sustainable design projects.  

Duties/Responsibilities to include but not limited to supervision to staff of Electrical Engineers and Electrical Designers for review of electrical design drawings, calculations specifications.  Electrical design drawings consist of power, lighting, telephone, unsecure and secure data, cable television systems, paging/intercom systems, closed circuit television systems, fire alarm systems, mass notification systems.

Other duties/responsibilities include Project Management, report writing, coordinating requirements with government agencies.

All documentation on projects are in English (Korean language skills are not required but preferable).
