    KPMG’s Audit practice uses a methodology that transforms the audit process from a traditional

    compliance-driven function to a risk-based approach by creating a framework for auditors to

    Job Responsibilities & Qualifications:

    Korean) individuals with effective communication, leadership and time management skills for

    our Korean Practice- Audit. Successful candidates will possess strong technical ability to meet

    our business objectives. KPMG professionals work as a team and strive for personal

    effectiveness and professionalism to maintain excellent client service. Opportunities are

    available for fall 2012 start dates in our

    New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta offices.

     

    Responsibilities:

    Perform audit-related tasks for a variety of clients

    Help ensure the integrity and transparency of financial information

    Identify the key business issues affecting those results

    Assess both internal control tests of designs, and internal control tests of effectiveness

    Gain a strong understanding of US GAAP, US GAAS, and preferably, PCAOB auditing

    standards

     

    Qualifications:

    BS, MS, or MBA in Accounting or Taxation at accredited colleges/universities

    Eligible to sit for the Uniform CPA exam

    Fluency in Korean and English

    We offer a broad range of capabilities in the following areas:

    Responsibilities:

    Perform tax-related tasks for a variety of clients within four lines of businesses: Financial

    Services; Health Care and Public Sector; Information, Communication and Entertainment;

    Consumer and Industrial Businesses

    Prepare and analyze financial and economic data for tax and regulatory compliance

    Perform economic and financial analysis in support of business advising and regulatory

    controversy

    Identify and research tax issues

    Write reports

     

    Qualifications:

    Any of the following degrees from an accredited college/university: Bachelor’s of

    Accountancy, Master’s of Accountancy, Master’s of Taxation, J.D., and/or LL.M. in

    Taxation from an accredited college/university

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research skills, and able to work

    well both autonomously and collaboratively

    Many states require educational requirements beyond the Bachelor’s degree in order to become eligible to sit for the CPA exam and/or become certified as a CPA; KPMG asks that candidates meet the educational requirements needed to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam as required by the specific state of employment prior to starting employment at KPMG.
