    Loss Control Inspector

    In this role the Loss Control inspector review risks of new/renewal policies, document the risk for recommendation and coordinate with underwriting department.

    Qualifications:

    Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
    Background or experience in risk management, construction, real estate, or appraisal
    College graduate preferred

    Primary responsibilities will include:

    * Conduct inspections for assigned territory

    *  Conduct insurance casualty/risk assessment inspection and/or surveys out in the field during normal business or operating hours

    *  Observe on-site business operations and evaluate management practices to determine and analyze if safety issues and hazards are adequately controlled at the insured’s premise (field operation) during normal business or operating hours

    *   Preparing risk documentation and inspection reports for the underwriting department

    *    Provide assistance to the insured in the form of detailed action plans and program recommendations

    *    Assist with risk selection and attain risk improvement throughout the territories

    *   Investigate individual losses and claim trend analyses to determine if loss control intervention is needed

    Other tasks that will be required:
