Job Description:

 – Release RFQs. Supplier search, selection and price negotiation. Discuss and finalize terms and conditions of contracts

– Work and involve as a liaison for most of issues with suppliers not only commercial but also engineering and quality matter.

– Manage and track the delivery status of material and payment process as well as payment request

– Entering purchasing documents to global purchasing system, processing and confirm payments for suppliers using ROIMS

– Communicate with Hyundai Rotem in Korea (PM, financial team, Engineers,) for decision making, expediting payment process, resolving pending issues. Need to find the spot where any progress stuck and request people to work on that issue to procure parts.

– Market research for finding possible supplier with other team members (production, CS team).

– Involve from the initial stage for developing parts to help Engineering, Quality and Project Management team

– After contracting, need to involve Engineering and Quality issues with supplier

– Expediting all drawings, confirmation, delivery and information from suppliers for Engineering, Quality, and Project Management’s requests.

– Supplier Chain Management activities. Create various types of reports. Control, supervise, and sustain the master procurement information.

– Communicate with freight forwarder to set shipping arrangements. Need to monitor shipments pickup and delivery from the supplier on right time and place.

Requirement:

– Bilingual (Korean & English)
– Procurement Experience: 2+ years (Entry ~ Mid level)

Required Degree: Bachelors or higher (

전공 무관, but Engineering 선호  )
