JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE:  IT Applications Administrator

DEPARTMENT:  IT

LOCATION:  Houston, TX

REPORTS TO: IT Manager

SUMMARY: The IT Applications Administrator plans, designs, develops, and operates corporate business operation application systems. The IT Applications Administrator holds a significant role in the organization’s decision-making processes and ensures that business operating applications are complete and up to date. The administrator works with head office applications administrators and external vendors, ensuring that the application systems meet corporate quality standards and conform to industry practices. The administrator enters data or processes information, and communicates with peers, subordinates and departmental management.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

IT project plan/execution, LOB application, and process innovation management.

· HR/ERP System Deploy, Operation and Localization.

· Local Applications (QuickBooks, Office Applications) Planning and Development, Operation.

· Common IT System Deploy and Operation: Enterprise Portal, EDMS, and Contents Management.

· End User IT Training.

QUALIICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

· Computer system and programming acumen; the ability to analyze systems and determine how these systems can meet user needs. To perform duties proficiently, the administrator has Programming Language, Operating System and DBMS skills, such as C/C++, C#, VB Script, Microsoft Windows Servers, Oracle, and MS-SQL Server.

· Information planning capability.  

· Project/administration management skills.

· The applications administrator must have effective communication skills.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

· Bilingual (English and Korean) preferred.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems (preferred) or Associate’s degree with six years practical experience.
