    Assistant manager / Assembly – Southern Alabama

    • Creation and reviewing daily/monthly operation rate status.
    • Management and creating Daily Inventory Status Sheets.
    • Managing, distributing, and purchasing equipment required by
    assembly personnel on the factory floor
    • Welding electrodes, air powered tools, etc.
    • Cooperate with Senior Supervisor and Supervisors on the
    factory floor about the production needs..
    • Create daily production plan by shift.
    • Manage Engineering Change Orders when applicable.
    • Draft and follow up on corrective actions for the Assembly
    Department in reaction to manufacturing issues that arise.
    • Review and check daily production results.
    • Draft and participate in education/training materials.
    • Participate in line improvement activities.
    • Understand and control labor allocation.
    • Participate in continuous improvement activities
    • Cycle time analysis.
    • Quality Assurance
    • New model try out and follow up.
    • Productivity/Downtime Analysis
    • Improvement activity: Meeting with Q.C and Maintenance Dept.
    • Control scrap results after the Analysis.
    • FIFO control for the modified parts due to quality purposes
    and customers’ request.
    • Line Lay-out Revision for the higher productivity

    Education and/or Experience
    Four year University Degree
    Engineering/Business/Manufacturing Degree preferred
    Experience in Automotive industry required

    Language Skills
    Fully flent in Korean and English

    Mathematical Skills
    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret the several types of the graphs.

    Computer Skills
    Should also have well developed computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
