Job Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on technical individual to support our state of the art lithography simulation based tools and their applications that lead to the success of optical enhancement technologies. This position will be in our Korea field office. The Field Application Engineer act as a technical liaison between the customer and PEG (Product Engineer Group) located in Santa Clara, CA USA and is responsible for providing technical support to customers located in Korea. This role requires the individual to work between various organizations and play a key role in success of customer engagements and satisfaction, leading to growth and development.
Job Requirements:
• Advanced knowledge in simulation tools and customer support skills
• Ability to swiftly address customer concerns with applications of our existing product line
• Innovative ideas to promote our products to address customer needs
• Ownership of Benchmarking engagements in the field
• Documenting customer requirements and on-going field activities
• Presenting technical responses to customers
• Provide training to customers
Qualifications:
• Advanced degree (MS, PhD) in Computer Science, Mathematical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Experience in software simulation, lithography, semiconductor or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
• Software programming skills, specifically in C/C++ is a plus
• Familiar with UNIX/LINUX environment and script languages, PERL, MATLAB/MATHCAD…
• Ability to work independently and also effectively as a member of a team
• English written and verbal communication skills are mandatory
• Strong problem solving and innovative thinking skills
• Quick learner, proactive and flexibility are key
