Web Application Developer

This position works alongside ECNext customer service and marketing teams to develop and maintain large scale, business information Web sites based on ECNext’s technology and infrastructure.

General Requirements:
· Proven ability to work in an interdisciplinary team environment, to communicate effectively with team members, and to coordinate team activities
· Experience working in a dynamic, multi-tier Web application environment
· Proven analysis, design, and development skills
· Proven documentation and testing skills

Language & Platform Requirements:
· 5-10 years experience with PERL (including v5.
· 5-10 years experience in Solaris / Linux environment
· In-depth understanding of Web technologies and concepts (Apache, HTTP, XML, Web Services)
· Experience with Java (JSP/Servlet/Tomcat/JBoss) is a plus

Database connectivity:
· 5-10 years experience with RDBMS connectivity (including Oracle 10g, mySQL)
· 5-10 years experience with PERL DBI & DBD

Visual front-end:
· 5-10 years experience with web presentation layer
· HTML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX style UI
· PERL Template Toolkit
· Familiarity with DreamWeaver is a plus
