미국기업하고 삼성, LG 정도 한국 대기업 들은 현지 면접 후 얼마 정도 있다가 합격 여부 연락을 해주나요?
미국기업, 삼성전자 등 면접 봤는데 열흘이 넘어도 연락 안 오네요. 한국 기업들하고 면접 보신 분들도 꼭 알려주세요. 감사합니다.
I experienced a weird case from S* (within top 5 companies in Korea). I got an offer right away but they never contacted me ever since. My friends experienced the same thing (we are all PhDs). Sometimes, Korean companies give offers but, not seriously.
It wont be your case but it is good to know that it is a possible scenario to anyone.
Most Korean companies allow 업무시작일 to be determined/altered by candidates, mostly true for PhD students/post-docs or persons with an existing contract at the current job. The offer is valid for several years.
I dont know how many offer letters exist. My annual salary and other information including benefits (benefits, leaves, profit sharing, etc.) were specified. It was 5-6 years ago so I dont remeber perfectly. I got offers from two S******s and one S*. Some top executives showed strong interest in me but, now looking back, i think it was a kind of a lip service (i may be too negative though).
What i am saying is not a lie. Many friends of mine get a call/email from Korean companies every year “Are you coming this year?” I think that S****** is amazing professional in hiring process.
