I am just wondering if anyone can tell how much it costs to replace rear brake pads, rotors and calipers. The car is 04 Infiniti G35. The mechanic is talking about $1,100 after tax.
um,, rotors and pads are not the main issue here..
if you have to replace the calipers too, thats gonna cost you some money.
but honestly, i consider 1100 as over priced.
you could easily pick up after market calipers (such as stoptechs or brembos)
less than that. (ofcourse if ur getting brembos, you cant afford rotors and pads with 1100)
i once had stoptech 4 pistons on the fronts and 2 pistons on the back,
i could not imagine my car’s braking ever topping that.
And especially if ur at CA, you could easily find tuner shops that does the work
less than 1100.
seriously, with 1100, i could think of getting 4 sets of coilovers for my car.
