maintenance minder indication

    maintenance minder indication is on. (B1) I have honda civic ex.

    according to an owner’s manual, it is a time to rotate tires.

    honda dealer shop charged me $130. I thought it was too expensive, so I called firestone and good year tires. they only charge $20.

    why is the price so different? do they perform different service?
    is it okay to go to firestone or good year instead of honda service?
    it sounds very silly, but I hardly any know about a car.

      more info: 2008 honda, 7500 milage.

      If you have a code “B1”
      Then they probably changed oil and rotate the tires and inspecting few more items.
      But they still charge you $130.
      wow.
